About Us
The DFCC uses comprehensive, evidence-based strategies to inform and educate the public about the dangers of drug use and to change policies and environmental factors to limit drug access and availability. Activities include:
- Town Hall/Community meetings
- Distribution of educational brochures and materials
- Public awareness campaigns and public service announcements
- Bi-annual surveys of youth drug trends
- Trainings and seminars
- Legislative advocacy
- Use of social media
- Expansion of drug prevention education and skills training
- Support of alcohol and drug-free youth activities

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Become a Coalition Member!
Coalition meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the Drug & Alcohol Division of the Tehama County Health Services Agency, located at 1850 Walnut St., Bldg. G – Antelope Creek Room. The meetings are open to the public, and all are invited to come and share their ideas.

If you prefer a more limited commitment, you can participate in one or more work groups that meet as needed to develop strategies and plan activities in a specific area. We currently have five work groups:
