Tehama Oaks
Tehama Oaks is a WASC-accredited school serving 7th-12th grade adjudicated students and students waiting to receive dispositions. We operate under the provision and guidance of the Tehama County Department of Education, supported by Superintendent of Schools Jared Caylor.
Mission Statement
The mission of Tehama Oaks is to provide a safe and productive learning environment that promotes growth in academic and social-emotional skills in order to prepare students for graduation and constructive futures. Opportunities to demonstrate critical thinking skills are incorporated into instruction with the goal that students will become self-sufficient, motivated, and contributing members of society.

Shasta College Dual Enrollment
At Tehama Oaks, we are proud to offer dual enrollment opportunities for our students through Shasta College. Through this program, every Tehama Oaks student has the opportunity to become a college student while still completing high school.
Students participate in college-level coursework once a week, gaining early exposure to post-secondary learning while building confidence, academic skills, and a stronger vision for their future. Since the program began, more than 50 students have successfully completed at least one college course, and Tehama Oaks students have earned a cumulative total of 149 college credits.
This opportunity reflects our commitment to helping students see themselves as capable learners with real options beyond high school. By earning college credit early, students are taking meaningful steps toward future education, career readiness, and long-term success.
