CPIN

California Preschool Instructional Network

California Preschool Instructional Networks (CPIN) was initiated during the 2003-2004 school year by the California Department of Education (CDE). At that time, Tehama County Department of Education received the grant to provide professional development to early childhood educators in the nine northeast counties of California. CPIN is organized by the 11 regions designated by the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA). Our project serves Butte, Glenn, Tehama, Trinity, Shasta, Plumas, Lassen, Siskiyou, and Modoc Counties.

Sessions are offered virtually and in person and topics include early language and literacy, mathematics, Preschool Learning Foundations, Preschool Curriculum Frameworks, children with disabilities and English Language Learners.
