Tehama Teacher Induction Program is a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support, and professional learning that begins in the teacher’s first year of teaching. Educator preparation programs are locally designed and implemented in accordance with program standards and are accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to recommend candidates for a Clear Credential.

• California Preliminary Credential
• Employed and actively teaching as the teacher of record in a certificated position in California

Teachers whose California Preliminary Credential renewal code indicates teacher induction is needed to earn a clear in the following credentials:

• Streamlined format to meet CTC requirements needed to clear a preliminary credential
• Personalized coaching for candidate and mentor pairs
• Differentiated training commensurate with mentor experience
