School Readiness advocates for every child to have an early learning educational experience. Bilingual Liaisons provide a home visiting program to parents of young children using Parents as Teachers home visitation curriculum. School Readiness outreaches to families with children ages 0-5, pre-school age children who are on a waiting list to get into a State Preschool or Head Start, and Kinder Camp at many school sites to children who are getting ready to begin kindergarten without the opportunity for a preschool experience.

School Readiness works closely with the schools to assist with improving the readiness of children as they enter kindergarten and facilitating planning and communication around the topic of successful transitions for parents, early care providers, preschools, and elementary staff.

School Readiness staff makes it a priority that every child in the program is up-to-date on well-child checkups and dental checkups, even providing help with transportation if needed.

Our dedicated staff is committed to helping families be strong, healthy and ready for school!  We encourage all families to Read-Sing-and Play every day!
