TEHAMA COUNTY REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM
(ROP)
The Tehama County Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is a cooperative career technical educational effort between Corning Union High School District, Los Molinos Unified School District, Red Bluff Joint Union High School District, and the Tehama County Department of Education.
The Tehama County ROP trains students in a variety of Career Technical Education pathways. The ROP is a vital link in a seamless sequence of Career Technical Education courses leading to high skill, high wage job opportunities.
The Tehama County ROP works in cooperation with local businesses to provide on-the-job training. The ROP has many members within the local business community and industry sector involved in advisory committee relationships. Advisory committees serve as a key link to local business and industry.
All ROP courses receive Career Technical Education credits which serve to support academic skills training. All ROP courses are standards aligned and designed to deliver hands on real world applications.
Students enrolled in ROP have the opportunity to take advantage of community classroom and cooperative classroom worksite experiences. In addition the cooperating high school sites offer student enterprise projects which are campus based and offer hands on skill building programs.
