  • Tehama County Mentoring Program Volunteer adult to youth and youth to youth mentoring programs. Services include one-on-one, group, and school based mentoring.
  • Friday Night Live/Club Live Youth leadership program offering substance-free activities and support for students at participating junior high and high school sites.
  • Foster and Homeless Youth Services Educational advocacy, support and services for foster and homeless youth.
  • Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco Prevention Provide research validated curriculum and training to all county schools; tobacco and marijuana awareness classes for first time juvenile offenders; tobacco cessation classes for all students. We work closely with the Tehama County Health Services Agency Public Health Tobacco Education Program.   • Mental Health and Counseling Services for Students Licensed school based counseling services designed to increase positive social skills and school readiness.
  • Violence and Bullying Prevention Provides effective education, training and resources to schools, parents, and the community.
  • School Safety and Crisis Response Countywide coordination of school safety plans and crisis response procedures, including training and best practice information. Provides assistance in creating a comprehensive plan for school and student safety planning, mitigation, response, and recovery.
  • California Healthy Kids Survey Coordination of local youth survey pertaining to safety, substance use, health, and resiliency.
  • HIV/AIDS/Teen Pregnancy Prevention Education Provide medically accurate information and effective prevention education to junior high and high schools; teacher training, and referrals to local resources.
  • School & Attendance Review Board Legal process designed to address student attendance and behavioral problems.
