Educational Support Services is dedicated to continuous district and school improvement and to the lifelong learning of all educational personnel – administrators, teachers, and para-professionals . Our webpage is organized around California’s Nine Essential Program Components Supporting Academic Achievement (EPCs). These nine components are accessed by clicking the links on the left.

For each, you will find the state definition of the component and related information helpful to schools and districts in implementing the component with fidelity.

We have also broadened each EPC to include additional information, resources, and services.
