WHAT IS THE TEHAMA COUNTY COOPERATIVE (CO-OP)?
Presently 18 school districts in Tehama County, representing 30 schools along with the County School Superintendent, operate a service to assist with the administration of State and Federal categorical funds. Part-time coordinators and a part-time secretary provide these services along with assistance from other Department of Education personnel. The County Superintendent provides an office and communication assistance.
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES?
- Completion of Part I and Part II of the Consolidated Application for funding.
- Development and monitoring of the Co-op Wide Local Improvement Plans.
- School Site Council (SSC) training workshops.
- Parent Involvement Trainings
- Categorical Program Monitoring (CPM) assistance.
- Representation at Schoolwide Support, ISHI Consortia, and California Co-op Directors.
- Oversee the Title III Consortium.
- Oversee the submission of the Language Census (R30) for the school districts.
- "Staying on Track" information publication and quick response to members questions and concerns.
- Contact with the California Department of Education.
