Fiscal Support

The Business Services Department of the Tehama County Department of Education provides fiscal support to all school districts in Tehama County, as well as to the many programs provided by the County Office of Education. These services include:

District Fiscal Services
Monitoring budgets, processing cash receipts, providing fiscal reports, auditing and processing payroll and accounts payable, holding regular informational and training meetings for district business services staff

Internal Business Support Services
Fiscal support services to the County Office and its programs

Payroll
County Office and district payroll preparation and oversight

Retirement System (PERS/STRS) Services
Preparing and auditing retirement contributions of the County Office and District personnel
