The Tehama County Board of Education, in conjunction with the County Superintendent, provides leadership, service, and support to the 18 local districts and all students in Tehama County.

The Tehama County Board of Education consists of five (5) elected members who represent individual trustee areas in the county (Corning, Los Molinos, and Red Bluff). Board members are elected by the voters at the primary election of even numbered years and serve four-year terms.

From among its members, the Board elects a president and vice president at its December Organizational Meeting. The Tehama County Superintendent of Schools serves as the Board Secretary.

The Tehama County Board of Education meets monthly at 5:00 p.m. at the Tehama County Department of Education, 1135 Lincoln Street, Red Bluff, California, in The Gallery. (See calendar of meetings)
